Section 18 in The M.P. Janpad Panchayat and Zila Panchayat Standing Committees (Election of Members, Powers and Functions and Term of Members and Procedure for the Conduct of Business) Rules, 1994
18. Term of Office.
- The term of the office of the Chairman and Members of the Standing Committee shall be the same as that of the Janpad Panchayat or Zila Panchayat, as the case may be :Provided that a person who ceases to be member of a Janpad Panchayat or Zila Panchayat as the case may be, shall cease to be Chairman or Member of the Standing Committee.
