(8)The emoluments to be paid to the Vice-Chancellor, and the terms and conditions subject to which he shall hold office, shall be such as may be determined by the State Government:Provided that such emoluments or such terms and conditions shall not, during the currency of the term of the holder of that office, be varied to disadvantage without his consent.
