32. Constitution of a Selection Committee for appointment of officers and teachers of Faculty.
- [(1) The Board shall constitute a Selection Committee in regard to the appointment of teachers for each Faculty which shall consist of the following persons, namely:-(i)the Vice-Chancellor who shall be ex-officio Chairman of the Committee;(ii)the Dean of the Faculty concerned; and(iii)three experts in the case of selection of Professors, two experts in the case of selection of Associate Professors and one expert in the case of selection of Assistant Professors, the experts being from outside the University, having special knowledge of the subject of the Department in the Faculty. The experts are to be nominated by the Board.](2)The teachers of a Faculty shall be appointed by the Board on the recommendation of the Selection Committee of that Faculty and their remuneration and other conditions of service shall be such as may be prescribed.
