(6)The Vice-Chancellor shall give effect to any order of the Executive Council regarding the appointment, dismissal or suspension of an officer or a teacher of the University or regarding the recognition or withdrawal of the recognition of any such teacher and shall exercise general control in the University. He shall be responsible for maintenance of the discipline of the University.
