Heard Shri Amit Kumar Srivastava, counsel for the applicant and Shri G.K. Tripathi, counsel for the respondents.
2. Counsel for the applicants submitted that the matter regarding payment of over time is pending with the Page No. 6 respondents and applicants have moved so many representations but the same is still pending with the respondents. He, further, stated that Central Administrative Tribunal, Lucknow Bench has already been decided the identical issue and directed the respondents to decide the representation of the applicants.
3. Counsel for the applicants lastly submitted that grievance of the applicants might be redressed in case the respondent No.2/competent authority is directed to decide the representation of the applicants as directed by CAT, Lucknow Bench in time bound manner.
4. Counsel for the respondents stated that he has no knowledge whether such type of representation moved by the applicants is still pending with the respondents or not and if the same is pending he has no objection to decide the same.
5. In view of the prayer made by counsel for the applicant, I am of the view that no useful purpose will be served to keep this OA pending, and the matter can be resolved by taking the Page No. 7 decision on the representation of the applicants. Hence, without commenting anything on the merits of the case, the O.A. is disposed of with the direction to the respondent No.2/Competent Authority to decide the representation of the applicants dated 01.03.2017 by reasoned and speaking order within a period of 02 months from the date of receipt certified copy of this order and communicate the decision to the applicants in writing.
6. There will be no order as to costs.
