- Nothing in this Act shall be deemed to bar the prosecution of any person under any other law for any act or omission which constitutes a forest offence or from being liable under such other law to any higher punishment or penalty that provided under this Act or the rules thereunder :Provided that no person shall be prosecuted and punished for the same offence more than once.Chapter-IX Cattle Trespass
