Section 45(1) in The Himachal Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1994
(1)Every suit instituted before a Gram Panchayat shall include the whole of the claim which the plaintiff is entitled to make in respect of the matter in dispute, but he may relinquish any portion of his claim in order to being it within the jurisdiction of the Gram Panchayat.
