Section 7(4)(a) in The Tamil Nadu Agricultural Produce Marketing (Regulation) Act, 1987

(a)The Government may, by notification, declare their intention to direct the independent market committee or, as the case may be, the market committee concerned to close such special market or subsidiary market, as may be specified in the notification. The notification shall state that any objection or suggestion which may be received by the Government, within such period as may be specified in the notification, shall be considered by it.
