9. University open to all persons irrespective of class, caste, creed or gender.
- The University shall be open to all persons irrespective of class, caste, creed or gender;Provided that nothing in this section shall be deemed to prevent the University from making special provisions for admission to students of the State of Uttarakhand;Provided further that nothing in this section shall be deemed to require the University or Constituent Colleges or Regional Centres or Study Centres to admit in any course of study a larger number of students than may be determined by the Statutes.
