Section 29(2) in The Assam Reorganisation (Meghalaya) Act, 1969
(2)For the purpose of this section, a person shall not be deemed to hold an office of profit under the Government of India or the Government of any State or the Government of Meghalaya by reason only, that he is a Minister either for the Union or for such State or for Meghalaya.
