Section 8(1) in Telangana Weights and Measures (Enforcement) Act, 1958
(1)Notwithstanding anything contained in this Act, the Government may, by notification in the [Telangana] [Substituted by G.O.Ms.No.45, Law (F) Department, dated 01.06.2016.] Gazette, direct that in any specified trade or class of trades no transaction, dealing or contract shall be made or had except by weight only, or except by measure only.
