Section 17(1) in Tamil Nadu Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2017

(1)The selection of Chairperson and members of the Committee shall be made by a selection committee consisting of the following persons, namely.-
(i) PrincipalDistrict and Sessions Judge - Chairperson
(ii) District Collector - Member
(iii) Commissioner of Police or DistrictSuperintendent of Police, as the case may be - Member
