Section 189(2) in The Gujarat Municipalities Act, 1963
(2)Any expense incurred by the Chief Officer in taking action under this section shall be paid by such owner or the person responsible for such working or removal, and shall be recoverable in the same manner as an amount on account of any tax recoverable under Chapter IX.
