11. Member Secretary of the Board.
(1)There shall be a Member Secretary of the Board, who shall be an officer of Indian Forest Service not below the rank of Chief Conservator of Forests, appointed by the State Government.(2)The Member Secretary shall be responsible for the efficient discharge of the functions of the Board, convening the meetings, maintaining the records of the proceedings, etc.(3)The Member Secretary shall be responsible for day to day administration of the Board, management of funds and implementation of various activities of the programme under the guidance of the Chairperson of the Board.(4)The Member Secretary shall be in charge of all the confidential papers of the Board and shall be responsible for their safe custody.(5)The Member Secretary shall exercise such other powers and perform such other functions, as may be assigned to him, from time to time, by the Board.
