Section 45GG(1) in The Wild Life (Protection) (Orissa) Rules, 1974
(1)[For any death or injury] [Substituted vide Notification No. 3308 dated 25.2.2006, Orissa Gazette Extraordinary No. 257 Dated 6.3.2006.] caused within a forest area or its five kilometres belt, the concerned Divisional Forest Officer shall be the authority competent to sanction payment of the compassionate.
