This writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to conduct Election for the post of Sarpanch of Ellampally Village, Saidapur Mandal, Karimnagar District, as per the Telangana Panchayat Raj (Conduct of Election) Rules, 2018.
Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, and the learned Senior Counsel appearing for 1st respondent.
Learned Senior Counsel would submit on instructions that necessary steps would be taken within a period of six weeks for election of Sarpanch.
Recording the submission made, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
Miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, shall stand closed.
