5. Appointment of Licensing Authority.
- The Government may, by notification in the Government Gazette,-(a)appoint such officers of the Government as it thinks fit to be the licensing authorities for the purposes of this Act; and(b)define the limits within which such a licensing authority shall exercise the powers conferred on a licensing authority by or under this Act.
