Date : 25-02-2022 Heard Mr. S.K. Saha, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A. Baruah, learned Standing Counsel, Environment & Forest Department for all the respondents.

By this writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has assailed a notification bearing no. FRE-118/2014/201 dated 06.03.2017 issued under the hand of the respondent no. 2.

The learned counsel for the parties have submitted that the said notification was assailed in a batch of writ petitions, W.P.[C] no. 3140/2017 [Riangdo Veneers Pvt. Ltd. vs. The State of Assam and 4 others] and other writ petitions. The said batch of writ petitions have already been disposed of by an order dated 27.09.2019 and the direction made therein in Paragraph 28 also covers the case of this writ petitioner.

In the above view of the matter, this writ petition stands disposed of in terms of the directions made in the order dated 27.09.2019 passed in W.P.[C] no. 3140/2017 [Riangdo Veneers Pvt. Ltd. vs. The State of Assam and 4 others] and other writ petitions.
