                                                              ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a mandamus as against the 1st respondent for issuance of passport based upon the petitioner's application dated 20.11.2025.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the respondent brought to the notice of the Court the following cases as against the writ petitioner:-

3. A perusal of the above said facts would clearly reveal that the referred charge sheet have been filed in Sl.No.7 to 13. As far as criminal case in Crime No.91 of 2023 on the file of Keeranur Police station is concerned, charge sheet has been laid in STC.No.1769 of 2022 and the same is pending on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Palani.

4. As far as the other criminal cases which are shown in the tabular column is concerned, though charge sheet have been filed long before Cr.No.91/2023 and the same have not been taken on file and have been returned due to certain defects.

5. In view of the above said facts, the petitioner is directed to approach the trial Court in STC.No.1769 of 2022 seeking the prior permission of the Court to go abroad. In case if any such application is filed, same shall be disposed of within a period of four weeks. Based upon the orders to be passed, the 1st respondent is directed to proceed in accordance with law.

6. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.

No costs.
