(2)Where no qualifications have been specified by the Waqif in the Waqf deed, the mutawalli should have;-(a)knowledge of Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi, Arabic or English; or(b)working basic knowledge of Sharia with specific knowledge of waqf law as well as Muslim custom.
