Section 5(3)(a) in The Gujarat Medical Practitioners' Act, 1963

(a)[subject to the provision of clause (b), the term of office of a member of the Board] [Substituted for 'the term of office of a member of the Board, whether elected or nominated' by Gujarat 1 of 1999, dated 9th March, 1999.], shall be a period of five years commencing from the date of the notification published under sub-section (1);
