62. Exercise of powers of Superintendent and Medical Officer.
- All or any of the powers and duties conferred and imposed by this Act on a Superintendent or Medical Officer may in his absence be exercised and performed by such other officers as [The Government] [In section 3(1), 5, 6, 7, 11(2), 38, 41, 46, 56, 59, 60 and 62 the words 'the Government' substituted for the words 'His Highness' by Act X of 1996.] may appoint in this behalf either by name or by his official designation.
