22. Correction of bona fide mistakes.
A Compensation Officer may, on application or of his own motion at any time before payment of compensation under section 23, correct any entry in the Compensation Assessment Roll, which he is satisfied has been made owing to bona fide mistake :Provided that no such correction shall be made if an appeal affecting such entry has been presented under section 20 or until reasonable notice has been given to the parties concerned to appear and be heard in the matter.
