Section 77(2)(y) in Punjab Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014

(y)coordination with the legal officer in the District Child Protection Unit to ensure that every juvenile or child is legally represented and provided free legal aid and other necessary support or where the District Child Protection Unit has not been set up, services of the District or State Legal Services Authority, shall be made available.
