Section 43(l) in Jammu and Kashmir Juvenile Justice (Care and Protection of Children) Rules, 2014
(l)arrange for a medical examination of each juvenile or child admitted in an institution by the Medical Officer within 24 hours and in special cases as soon as possible ;
