- 2. Act or proceedings due on a holiday to be done the next working day. Where by any law, any act or proceedings is to be done or taken in the office of die University on a certain day or within a prescribed period, and the office is closed on that day or the last day prescribed, the act or proceeding shall be considered as done or taken in due time if it is done or taken on the date on which the office re-opens.
