7. Seniority of officers appointed under sub-rule (3) of rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in any of the provisions of these rules, the seniority of officers appointed to the Service in accordance with the provisions of sub-rule (3) of Rule 4 of the Indian Administrative Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1954 shall be determined in accordance with such principles as the Central Government may, after consultation with the State Governments and the Commission, from time to time, determine.
