Section 2(j) in Andhra Pradesh Government Professional Institutions (Regulation of Admissions into Under-graduate Medical and Dental Professional Courses) Rules, 2003
(j)"Qualified Candidate" in respect of seats to be filled by 'competent authority' means the candidate who has appeared for the Common Entrance Test for admission into the related Professional Course and has been assigned ranking in the Common Merit List as per Rule 5 of the A. P. Common Entrance Test for entry into Engineering, Architecture, Pharmacy, Agriculture, Medical and Dental Courses Rules, 2003.
