Section 19(5) in The Jammu and Kashmir Protection of Human Rights Act, 1997
(5)the Commission shall send a copy of its inquiry report together with its recommendations to the Government or authority and the Government or authority shall, within a period of [three month] [Substituted 'one month' by Governor Act No. 28 of 2018, dated 4.12.2018.], or such further time as the Commission may allow, forward its comments on the report, including the action taken or proposed to be taken thereon, to the Commission;
