Section 75 in Regulations Under the U.P. Intermediate Education Act, 1921
75. An employee of the institution shall be allowed to examine his Service Book at any time if he so desires to satisfy himself that it is being properly maintained. He will sign against each entry in his Service Book regarding annual increment, promotion and transfer, and any interruption (such as leave) in service will be noted with full details of its duration. All entries in the Service Book shall be attested by the Head of Institution in the case of a teacher [and other employees] and by the Manager in the case of the Head of the Institution.
