Section 3(1) in Maharashtra Metropolitan Planning Committees Constitution and Functions Act, 1999
(1)There shall be constituted a Metropolitan Planning Committee for every Metropolitan area consisting of forty-five members as provided Planning under sub-section (2) to prepare a draft development plan for the Metropolitan area as a whole.
