ORDER
Kumari Prem Lata, Appellant, filed a complaint before the Commission in which she submits that she has not been provided with complete information in respect of her RTI application filed before the PIO, PHQ.
During the hearing, the Appellant further clarified that in fact she has not been provided a copy of the marks received by her in the written test held for the post of Constable Executive, Male & Female, 2008 in Delhi Police nor she has been provided with the copy of the answer sheet. The Respondent on the other hand submit that the RTI application dated nil of the Appellant, under RTI Act, was received by them on 5.2.2009 and an interim reply was given to her on 10.2.2009. Thereafter, the Appellant was informed vide letter dated 20.3.2009 that the marks of written test and marks of interview would be loaded on the website of Delhi Police after announcement of final result to the post of Const. (Executive) in Delhi Police. Her appeal was received on 22.4.2009 and reply was given to her by the Addl. Commissioner of Police/FAA, Recruitment & Armed Police Delhi vide letter dated 13.5.2009 and as per the directions of the FAA, pointwise reply was given to the Appellant, vide letter dated 15.5.2009. She was also informed that the marks of the candidates are available on the website of Delhi Police vide letter 11.9.2009. However on receipt of information/documents from the Recruitment Agency, a copy of OMR answer sheet and key, these were also sent to the candidate, vide letter dated 25.8.2010. The Respondent submits that Appellant has already been informed that the cut of marks of written test for the post of Const. (Exe.) Female 2008 was 38 marks and that the marks obtained by Kumari Prem Lata was below the cut of marks.
After hearing the parties and on perusal of the relevant documents on file, the Commission is of the view that requisite information available on record and permissible under RTI Act has been provided to the Appellant. The Appellant has been informed about the status of the information required by her from time to time and there were reasonable causes for not providing the information with the period stipulated under the RTI Act. However, complete information has now been provided to the Appellant.
The matter is disposed of on the part of the Commission.
