(7)No arrest shall be made without prior permission of an officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police in case of an offence which is punishable for imprisonment of less than three years and such person is infirm or is above sixty years of age.[Similar to Section 41 and 41A from Old CrPC-Also Refer]
