Section 7(1) in The West Bengal University of Technology Act, 2000
(1)All recognized teachings in connection with the degrees, diplomas and certificates of the University shall be conducted by the Teachers of the University or of any affiliated institution, as the case may be, under the general control of the General Council and immediate control of the Executive Council and the Academic Council.
