159. Competency of a member to transfer land and interest therein to society.
- Notwithstanding anything contained in the Transfer of Property Act, 1882 (4 of 1882), and the Registration Act, 1908 (16 of 1908) it shall be lawful for a member of farming society to transfer to the society any land held by him or the whole or part of his interest in any land by an agreement and in such manner as may be prescribed.
