Section 10(1) in The Assam Finance Service Rules, 1963
(1)Age. - A candidate shall not be less than 21 years and more than 30 years of age on the first January of the year in which the competitive examination is held by the Commission with relaxation in the case of the candidates belonging to special categories in accordance with the general orders issued from time to time by the Governor:Provided that in the case of Government servants, the age limit is relax able up to 40 years inclusive of all age concessions.
