229. Superintendent, Headquarters jail, to furnish half-yearly return.
- The Superintendent of a Head-quarters Jail shall furnish the Superintendent of each jail in his circle, as soon after the 1st January, and 1st July each year as possible, with a list (Form No. 108) showing the positions of the warders of that particular jail in the grades to which they belong. This list would be read out to the warders on parade and each informed of the number of men who stand before him for promotion to the next higher grade.Note. - A copy of the list in Punjabi should be exhibited in the jail main gate.
