Section 4(1) in The Orissa Mining and Geology Service Rules, 1976
(1)Recruitment to [Group-B] [Substituted vide O.G.No. 4 dated 26.1.2007.] of the Mineral Administration Wing and the Geological Survey and Exploration Wing shall be made-(i)by direct recruitment in accordance with Rule 5; and(ii)by promotion of officers as provided under Rule 6.
