Section 3(i) in Rules for Delegation of Administrative and Financial Powers, in the Assam Agricultural University, 1982
(i)'Appropriation' means the assignment to meet specified expenditure of finds included in a primary Unit of appropriation i.e. Major Head of expenditure.
