Act to prevail over provisions of certain other acts. - The provisions of this Act shall have effect notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained in the provisions relating to primary education in the Bombay District Municipal Act, 1901 (Bombay Ill of 1901), the Bombay Local Boards Act, 1923 (Bombay IV of 1923), and the Bombay Municipal Boroughs Act, 1925 (Bombay XVIII of 1925), [or any other corresponding law.]
