(2)When the [High Court] [Substituted for the words 'Local Government' by Punjab Act 9 of 1922, Section 7.] posts a [Civil Judge (Senior Division) and Civil Judge (Junior Division)] [Substituted by Act 16 of 1995 dated 26.10.1995.] [-] [Sub- section (2) omitted and sub-section (3) renumbered as sub- section (2) and the words 'or the High Court posts a Munsif' were omitted by Punjab Act 9 of 1922, Section 7(2) and (3).] to a district, the local limits of the district shall, in the absence of any direction to the contrary, be deemed to be the local limits of his jurisdiction.
