(2)without prejudice to the generality of the provisions contained in sub-section (1), the Director shall;(a)exercise general supervision and control over the affairs of the Institute;(b)ensure implementation of the decisions of the authorities of the Institute;(c)be responsible for proper imparting of instructions and maintenance of discipline in the Institute.
