Section 23 in Assam Education Department Rules and Orders
23. "Training school" means school for training of teachers for primary and secondary schools in the curriculum prescribed by the Department.
Training schools are of two kinds :(a)"Normal schools" for training of teachers for secondary schools and(b)"Guru training schools" for training of teachers for primary schools.
