Section 402(3) in The Coimbatore City Municipal Corporation Act, 1981
(3)The Commissioner may, with the sanction of the council-(a)grant or refuse to grant a licence; or(b)postpone the grant of a licence, until his objections to the site have been removed or any particulars called for by him have been furnished.
