(b)There should be a separate roll for each officer, which will follow him upon transfer. Entries in the roll will be made only by or under the orders of Commissioner of Excise or by the officer holding superior rank viz., the Deputy Commissioner, Sub-divisional Officer and Superintendent of Excise. All entries should be signed (not initialed) and dated.
