5. Constitution of the Selection Committee and its tenure.
- The Selection Committee shall comprise nine members (including the chairperson) and would be nominated by the State Government. The Principal Secretary/Secretary of Information & Public Relations Department shall be its chairperson and Director. Information and Public-relation shall be the Member Secretary of the Committee. Out of the rest of the members, there must be representatives who have made a mark in the field of journalism, editing, photography and academics in which representation of minorities, schedule casts/schedule tribes communities shall be necessary. The tenure of the Committee shall be of two years.
