Section 44 in THE COCHIN UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY ACT, 1986
44. Protection of acts and Proceeding of the Syndicate,
Senate, Academic Council, etc.-(1) No act or procedingsof theSyndicate, the Senate, the Academic Council or any otherbody constituted under this Act or the Statutes, Ordinances,Regulations or Rules made thereunder shall be invalid merelyby reasonof any vacancy existing in the body performing theact or passing the proceedings.(2)The Registrar shall forward to the Government copiesof the proceedings at a meeting of the Syndicate and theAcademic Council within two months of such meeting.
