Section 2(xxii) in The Chhattisgarh Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Avam Jansanchar University Act, 2004
(xxii)"Teacher of the University" means professor, reader, lecturer and such other person as may have been appointed for imparting instructions or conducting research, with the approval of Academic Council in the University or any College or any Institution maintained or recognized by the University;
