Section 11 in The United Provinces Aerial Ropeways Act, 1922
11. Appointment of Inspector.
(1)The [State Government] [Substituted by the ALO 1950 for "Provincial Government" which had been Substituted by the ALO 1937 for "Local Government"] may appoint an Inspector of aerial ropeways.(2)It shall be the duty of such Inspector from time to time to inspect aerial ropeways and to determine whether they are maintained in a fit condition and worked with due regard to the convenience and safety of the public, and consistently with the provisions of this Act.
