Section 13(9) in Birsa Munda Tribal University Act, 2017
(9)(a)During the leave or absence of the Vice-Chancellor, or(b)in the event of a permanent vacancy in the office of the Vice-Chancellor, until an appointment is made under sub-section (1) to that office, the Pro-Vice-Chancellor shall be given a charge of that post and in his absence, one of the Deans as nominated by the State Government for that purpose shall carry on the current duties of the office of the Vice-Chancellor.
